Terms of Service

These terms are an agreement between you and Nguyen Minh Tuan (Nguyễn Minh Tuấn), an individual based in Vietnam who operates ainius at ainius.net ("ainius", "we", "us").

By using ainius you agree to these terms, our Privacy Policy, our Refund and Cancellation Policy and our Content & Takedown Policy. If you don't agree, don't use ainius.

1. What ainius does

ainius turns a news link or a topic you give us into a short vertical (9:16) video with AI narration, captions, images and background music. Some plans let you edit a video by chat.

We run automated checks that compare the script with the source. AI can still get facts, names, numbers, dates or images wrong.
Watch every video before you publish it.

2. Who can use ainius

  • You must be at least 16 years old, or older if your country requires it.
  • To buy a plan you must be at least 18, or the age of majority where you live.
  • An account is for one person. Keep your sign-in secure. You are responsible for what happens in your account.
  • Don't create several accounts to collect extra free credits.
  • You can make a first video without an account. These terms apply to that too.

3. What you give us ("Input")

Input means the links, topics, text, instructions, images, logos, voice choices and chat messages you submit.

  • You confirm you have the right to use your Input, and that using it with ainius does not break any law, anyone's rights, or a website's terms.
  • When you submit a link, we fetch that page to summarize it for your video. Only submit pages you are allowed to access. Don't submit content you got by getting around a paywall or a login.
  • If you use a custom voice, it must be your own voice, or you must have the written permission of the person whose voice it is.
  • You give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, copy, process and transform your Input, only to provide, secure and support ainius. This includes sending it to the service providers listed in our Privacy Policy.

4. Your videos ("Output")

Ownership. We don't claim ownership of the videos we make for you. As between you and us, they are yours, subject to the third-party rights below.

Third-party material. A video can contain material that belongs to others:

  • Photos and screenshots from the article you submitted. These belong to the publisher, the photographer or a news agency (for example AP, Reuters, Getty, AFP). We don't own them and cannot license them to you.
  • Stock images from Pexels, used under the Pexels license.
  • Background music from licensed libraries. You may use it inside the video. You may not extract it or distribute it as a separate file.
  • Facts and short quotes from the source article.

Before you publish, you must make sure you are allowed to use any third-party material in the video, especially news-agency photos. If you are not sure, replace the images or don't publish.

No exclusivity. Other users may get similar videos from similar sources.

Our copy. We keep a copy of your videos so you can view and download them, as described in our Privacy Policy. We will not use your videos in our marketing without your permission. We do not train AI models on your Input or your videos.

Watermark. Videos made on the Free plan carry an ainius watermark and end card. Don't remove or hide them.

5. You are the publisher

When you post a video, you are its publisher. You are responsible for:

  • checking that it is accurate, and fixing or removing it if it isn't;
  • following the rules of the platform you post on (YouTube, TikTok, Meta and others), including AI-content labels where they apply;
  • having the rights to any third-party material in it;
  • following the law where you publish, including defamation, privacy, copyright, election and advertising law.

We don't promise that any platform will accept, recommend or monetize your videos. Each platform decides that.

6. What you must not do

Don't use ainius to create, publish or help create content that:

  • is illegal, or infringes copyright, trademarks, privacy or publicity rights;
  • defames anyone, or presents an allegation as a proven fact (see the rules in our Content & Takedown Policy);
  • impersonates a real person or organization. This includes making a real person appear to say or do something they didn't, and imitating a real person's voice;
  • is made to look like it comes from a real news organization (its name, logo, branding or presenters) when it doesn't;
  • spreads false information about elections, voting, public health or emergencies, or is paid political advertising;
  • sexualizes minors in any way. We remove it, close the account and report it to the authorities;
  • is sexually explicit;
  • shows graphic violence or gore, or promotes terrorism, violent extremism or self-harm;
  • harasses or threatens people, or promotes hatred based on race, ethnicity, religion, nationality, gender, sexual orientation, disability or similar traits;
  • exposes other people's private information (home address, ID numbers, private contact details);
  • promotes scams, fake health or financial claims, or "get rich quick" promises;
  • is spam or mass-produced misleading content.

Also, don't:

  • scrape, reverse engineer or overload ainius, or get around its limits or watermark;
  • probe ainius for security holes without our permission (please report vulnerabilities to support@ainius.net);
  • resell ainius or offer it to others as your own service without our written agreement;
  • use ainius output to build a competing dataset or AI model.

Voices. Our AI voices come from providers including ElevenLabs. You also agree to follow the ElevenLabs Prohibited Use Policy. Among other things, it forbids imitating political candidates or government officials, and using a voice to deceive people about whether it was generated by AI.

We may refuse a request, remove content, or suspend an account that breaks these rules.

7. Plans, credits and payment

Prices. Current prices and what each plan includes are on our Pricing page. Videos cost credits according to their length. The cost is shown before you create a video.

Free plan. Free accounts receive a small number of credits every 30 days. Free videos have a watermark and lower resolution. We may change the Free plan at any time.

Credits.

  • A paid plan gives you credits for a 30-day period.
  • Unused credits expire at the end of the period. They don't roll over.
  • Credits have no cash value and can't be transferred.
  • Credits are refundable only as our Refund and Cancellation Policy describes.
  • Some other features also cost credits (for example, creating a custom voice costs 10 credits); the cost is shown before you confirm.
  • If a video fails because of a problem on our side, its credits are returned to you automatically.

Paying in USD: Dodo Payments. Orders paid in USD (or in the local currency shown at checkout) are sold by Dodo Payments, our reseller and Merchant of Record.

  • Dodo processes the payment, handles applicable taxes, and issues your receipt or invoice.
  • The Dodo Payments Buyer Terms also apply to these purchases.
  • Your card statement may show Dodo Payments.
  • Dodo may show the price in your local currency. Prices include applicable taxes. The total shown at checkout is what you pay.

Paying in VND: bank transfer. Orders paid in VND by bank transfer (VietQR) are sold by us directly. SePay notifies us when your transfer arrives. Credits are added once the transfer arrives with the correct order code.

No automatic renewal. Every plan, whether paid in VND or USD, is a one-time payment for 30 days. Plans do not renew automatically. We never charge you again unless you buy again.

Price changes. We may change prices. A change never affects a period you have already paid for.

Refunds. See our Refund and Cancellation Policy. In short: 100% refund within 7 days of payment, no questions asked.

Fair use of refunds. The refund guarantee is for honest use. If an account repeatedly buys and refunds, we may stop selling to that account. We still honor refund requests made within 7 days of payment.

Chargebacks. If something is wrong with a charge, please contact us first at support@ainius.net. It is the fastest way to get your money back.

8. Changes to the service

We may add, change or remove features. ainius may sometimes be unavailable; we don't guarantee any level of uptime. Features marked as beta may change or stop. Download any video you want to keep.

9. Suspension and termination

  • You can stop using ainius at any time and ask us to delete your account (see our Privacy Policy).
  • We may suspend or close your account if you break these terms, abuse free credits, put others or us at legal risk, or if the law requires it. Where reasonable, we will tell you why.
  • If we close a paid account without cause, we will refund the unused part of your current period. If we close it because you broke these terms, we don't refund.
  • Sections 4, 5, 10, 11, 12, 14 and 17 continue to apply after your account ends.

10. No warranties

ainius is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy and non-infringement. AI output may be inaccurate, incomplete, or similar to output made for others.

11. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows:

  • We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages. This includes lost profits, lost revenue, lost channel monetization, lost data and lost goodwill.
  • Our total liability for all claims about ainius is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid for ainius in the 12 months before the claim, or (b) USD 50.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or your rights as a consumer under the mandatory law of your country.

12. Indemnity

You will defend and compensate us for claims, losses and costs (including reasonable legal fees) that arise from your Input, from videos you publish, or from your breach of these terms or the law.

13. Complaints and takedown

To report content that infringes your rights or gets facts wrong, follow our Content & Takedown Policy. We close the accounts of repeat infringers.

14. Governing law and disputes

  • These terms are governed by the laws of Vietnam.
  • If you have a problem, contact us first at support@ainius.net. We will try to resolve it within 30 days.
  • If we can't resolve it, the competent courts of Vietnam have jurisdiction.
  • If you are a consumer in the EU, the UK or another country with mandatory consumer law, you keep the protection of that law, and you may bring a claim in the courts where you live.

15. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We will change the date at the top. For material changes, we will tell you by email or in the app at least 7 days before they take effect. If you keep using ainius after that, the new terms apply.

16. Other terms

  • These terms, together with the policies linked above (and the Dodo Payments Buyer Terms for USD purchases), are the whole agreement between you and us about ainius.
  • If a part of these terms is found invalid, the rest stays in force.
  • If we don't enforce a right, we haven't waived it.
  • You may not transfer your account. We may transfer these terms if ainius is moved to a company we control or to a buyer of ainius; we will tell you if that happens.
  • These terms are published in English and Vietnamese. If the two differ, the Vietnamese version applies to customers in Vietnam and the English version applies to everyone else.

17. Music you upload

  1. Scope. This section applies to any music file you upload in Setup to use as background music in your videos ("Your music").
  2. Your rights. You represent that you own the track, or hold a valid licence allowing you to use it in your video and to publish that video on social media and other platforms. "Personal use only" or "non-commercial" licences may not be enough; check before uploading.
  3. Copyright responsibility. You are solely responsible for the copyright and related rights in the track. ainius does not check or verify ownership or licensing of tracks you upload.
  4. Release from liability. To the extent permitted by law, ainius is not liable for any claim, loss, penalty or damage arising from a track you upload or from your use of it in a video.
  5. Indemnity. If a third party makes a claim, demand or lawsuit against ainius because of a track you uploaded, you agree to compensate ainius for reasonable resulting costs, including claim-handling and legal fees.
  6. Right to remove. ainius may remove the file, disable the track in your account, or re-render videos without it upon receiving a claim or having a reasonable suspicion of infringement, without prior notice. We will tell you afterwards where we can.
  7. Third-party platforms. TikTok, YouTube, Facebook and other platforms run their own copyright detection. They may mute, restrict, block or remove your video, or issue warnings to your account. ainius does not control and is not responsible for those decisions.
  8. Licence to ainius. You grant ainius a non-exclusive right solely to store, process and mix the track into videos in your account. ainius will not publish, share or use your music for any other account or purpose.
  9. Storage and deletion. The file is stored in your account. You may delete it at any time; videos already made may still contain it. If your account is deleted or you lose the plan that unlocks this feature, the file may be deleted.
  10. Proof of consent. When you tick the box we store the consent version, the exact text you saw, the time and your IP address, for use if a claim arises.
